Gina is a mom, first and foremost, and her son is an athlete who plays football and runs track. Gina comes from a large family with numerous siblings and cousins who have played NCAA D1 sports ranging from volleyball, football and tennis. Gina grew up playing multiple sports in high school. She chose to play college tennis at Trinity University while serving as a student assistant for the volleyball team. Gina is also an Army veteran and is proud of her service to her country. Gina graduated from both Trinity University, with a BA in Communications and Political Science, and Texas A&M San Antonio, with a M.Ed. in Education Administration.
Gina is going into her 8th year with Force. With Force, Gina helped coach one of our top 18s teams that qualified in 3 divisions for JO’s and ended up finishing 5th place in the 18s USA Division at JO’s. Gina has coached 17s, 15s, and 18s for Force and privately trains all ages and levels of players.
Gina has over 25+ years of experience coaching competitive volleyball. Her experience ranges from head coaching college, running multiple high school varsity programs, and coaching club volleyball teams as well. Her teams have had successes at every level ranging from being ranked nationally to winning multiple district championships. Also, Gina has qualified numerous teams over the years for JO’s winning national qualifiers and she credits her teams for all the successes due to their determination and hard work!
Gina has had the pleasure of coaching girls for a long time and considers it a honor and privilege to impact their lives in a positive way. Gina is very active at Force and is our Director of Community Relations and Marketing. She’s looking forward to another fantastic season at Force!
