San Antonio
Katy is originally from Hawaii, but grew up in San Antonio. As a coach’s kid, she’s grown up in the gym and loves the family atmosphere that Force provides. Katy was fortunate to have the opportunity to play soccer and volleyball in college while getting her degree in Biology and a masters in Education. She is in her third year as the head volleyball coach at Churchill high school, where she has been coaching since 2015. Next year she will celebrate ten years of marriage to her high school sweetheart, Shane. They have a son, Asher, who is wild and crazy and loves running around the gym! Katy is passionate about volleyball and developing the competitive side of young athletes. She is excited about rejoining the Force Fam this year and is looking forward to a great season!
