Robin Hanssen

Robin earned her bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology and English from Stephen
F. Austin University and her master’s degree in Education from Lamar
University. She is starting her 29th year of teaching English and coaching.
Robin was a varsity volleyball coach for seventeen years (John Tyler HS,
Georgetown HS, Stevens HS, Brennan HS). Coach Robin is currently in her second year at Johnson High School coaching freshman volleyball and JV soccer. She coached one season for Home Court America VBC, five
seasons for Extec Volleyball Association and six seasons with Alamo VBC.
This is her fourth season with Force. Robin has qualified seven teams for the Tour of Texas, and her 17 Premier team placed third at the 2016 National
Championships in Indianapolis in the National division. She has earned high
school coach of the year awards three times and the SFA Alumni Award for Coaching. Robin is so excited to be back with the Force Fam for her 5th season coaching at SA Force!
